Micromosaico

THE INSPIRATION

Inspired by one of the oldest and most intricate jewelry production techniques, the Micromosaico collection by Botteganove creates precious decorative surfaces. Originally designed using small square tesserae made of white paste, the collection has evolved over time with new variations, including even smaller square tesserae and round tesserae, made of porcelain stoneware and treated with special finishing technologies to be suitable for use in moist environments such as swimming pools and Turkish baths.
The Micromosaico collection by Botteganove draws inspiration from the traditional technique of jewelry making called micromosaic. This technique, which dates back centuries, involves using small square tesserae made of white paste to create intricate decorative surfaces.

Another addition to the collection is the round tessera, which offers new design possibilities and compositions. This tessera is also made of porcelain stoneware and undergoes special finishing technologies to make it resistant to moisture. This means that the decorative surfaces created with Micromosaico tesserae can be used in environments such as swimming pools and Turkish baths without the risk of damage.

The Micromosaico collection by Botteganove represents a fusion of tradition and innovation, combining the artisanal technique of micromosaico with the use of modern materials and advanced finishing technologies. The result is jewelry for environments, such as floors and wall coverings, that offer timeless elegance and exceptional durability.
